PULSE MEMBERSHIP

Pulse is a network for experts dedicated to health, safety, and security in higher education. As such, membership is open only to those for which this is their primary professional responsibility.

Application for membership shall be open to any individual over the age of eighteen (18) who is actively serving in a position primarily dedicated to the risk, health, safety, and security (HSS) aspects of higher education international travel, activities, and operations, or as otherwise determined from time to time by the Board.

RESOURCE DATABASE

Pulse maintains an extensive database of resources and templates for members to utilize and adapt. Instead of re-inventing the wheel, borrow from resources that have already been used in practice.

BENCHMARKING

Pulse members have access to benchmarking data and best practices from other members. Help make better decisions by learning what other experts in the field are already doing.

DATA FEEDS

Pulse members also have access to data feeds from US Dept. of State travel advisories, CDC travel notices, and alerts about major international events.

COLLABORATION

Connect with other experts a colleges and universities addressing the same needs with their travelers in a realtime platform. Develop professional relationships and connections that will foster professional development and provide timely information sharing. Pulse members are highly engaged. Pulse holds two annual meetings and regular professional development webinars.
